I wanted to introduce myself My name is Jeffrey Anderson. I grew up in the Dallas, Texas. I was born profoundly deaf and grew up in a very visual world and it has influenced me in so many ways. My artistic abilities didn't really start showing up until about 12 years ago. Back then it was abstract drawings that I used to do.. It evolved into acrylic pour painting and I have found my passion. I haven't quit since then! I call myself a Fluid Artist and wanted to also put it out there that I'm also deaf which is a major part of my life so that's how I came up with the name Deaf Fluid Artist. I am very proud of it. There are several pouring techniques that I focus on and they are Bloom Techniques, Swipes, Flip Cup pours.
I decided to experiment pouring on a few coasters, a few of my friends were amazed and asked me if I would sell it to them. I got really excited about that so I decided to make some more. I couldn't believe it, they sold so I thought I may as well sell them online and it's been an incredible joy for me to make something beautiful that people want to get.
Can you tell I really enjoy painting? :)
I use Amsterdam, Liquitex Basics, for painting. Australian Floetrol and American Floetrol, and house paint for pouring medium. These are what makes my paintings really pretty and shiny! I also use Gallery cotton canvases, Wood Panels and also ceramic tiles.
I am available for commission peices. Get in touch with me.
